IN-PERSON CLASS: WHAT TO EXPECT?

An in-person private yoga class is a great solution to take your practice to the next level. Sharing practice with a student is always a unique, precious experience as it goes beyond just following the same asanas, mats next to each other. It is about exchanging energy.

It Is Your Flow

In a private class, I design a flow specifically for you, whatever your physical, emotional and spiritual goals are. The flow can be soothing and slow or dynamic. Or, on the contrary, it can be energizing and uplifting. It all depends on where you are in your life and your practice.

If you are ready for some more challenging balances and inversions, it is always recommendable to have an instructor with you to ensure you keep your practice safe. I offer optionsĀ  to modify each asana using props if you need to make it more accessible.

Physical Adjustments vs Verbal Cues

What about physical adjustments? It is completely up to you. I tailor verbal cues to help you discover a new dimension of asanas. In addition to verbal cues, some students love adjustments because they allow to go deeper. However, if you prefer not to be touched, this is totally OK and will not take anything away from your practice. Instead, you will focus on other modalities, such as watching me for demos and listening to verbal cues.
